  • white rice - 1 cup (158g)
  • butter - 2 tbsp (28.4g)
  • parmesan - 56.7g
  • curry - 1 tsp (4.9g)
  • extra virgin olive oil - 2 tbsp (27g)
  • sea salt - 1 tsp (6g)
  • black pepper - 1 dash (0.1g)
  • water - 2 cup (473.6g)

Cooking steps

1.) We rinse the rice to remove impurities and excess starch, ensuring the rice doesn't become sticky when cooked.

2.) After preheating a pot with two tablespoons of olive oil, we add the thoroughly drained rice and sauté it for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.

3.) We add a teaspoon of curry, salt, pepper, water, and mix.

4.) After letting it boil for 15-20 minutes with the lid on, we turn off the heat and let the rice sit with the lid on for 2-3 minutes.

5.) We add the butter and Parmesan, gently stirring until well combined.
